Bassett Engineering is a state-of-the-art municipal and environmental engineering firm assisting communities since 1996. Bassett Engineering’s practice is focused on wastewater treatment in general, and Nutrient Reduction Technology (NRT) is our specialty. Britt Bassett, PE, BCEE, is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. Only 2,500 Environmental Engineers in the US have earned this mark of distinction as leaders in their area of practice. Mr. Bassett also helped write three WEF Manuals of Practice including Nutrient Removal, Design of Municipal WWTPs, and Process Modeling. We offer municipal engineering services including the study and design of water treatment, storage and distribution systems, and wastewater collection and treatment systems including sludge handling. We provide full services from a project’s inception through its conclusion. Some tasks may involve a simple review or a study, while others may run the full gamut from study to design, environmental permitting, bidding, construction including inspection, start-up and testing, as well as ongoing operational assistance. We are also assisting communities with the permitting required for water distribution to the gas industry.
