Utilities Engineer

CITY OF READING - UTILITIES ENGINEER

Responsible for performing engineering tasks associated with the evaluation, design, bid construction, inspection and operation/maintenance of utilities. Includes water/wastewater/storm-water systems and treatment facilities along with air quality, solid waste and related environmental systems to include implementation and performance of various functions and tasks associated with utilities engineering projects and programs.  Minimum three (3) years experience in civil engineering with a graduation from a four (4) year college or university with major course work in civil, environmental, or closely related engineering discipline is required. A PA Engineering-In-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred at date of hire.
