Wastewater Operator

Duncannon Borough Council is seeking a wastewater operator.

The applicant must possess a Class B with Subclass 1-4 PA DEP Wastewater Operators License.  Duties will include daily operations and maintenance of a 0.740 mgd Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) facility & collection system.  Applicant must have the ability to perform duties associated with operating a WWTP including sample collection, process control testing and data recording.

Other duties include but are not limited to semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work, grounds maintenance, snow removal, preventative equipment maintenance and repair and physical labor.

Weekends, holiday and on call duties are required.

Only licensed applicants need apply.  Qualified candidates must live in or relocate to a 30 minute travel radius of Duncannon Borough.  CDL license needed with one (1) year of hire.  Full-time position with benefits.  Water License a plus.
