Sales Tactic Warning

A company from New York that deals in degreasers for lift stations and other wastewater related products, contacted a few of our staff members, by using the company directory. They try and get any employee to accept a trial offer at no cost.  Even if you refuse like we did,  they send it anyway. " With an invoice to follow!!!!!  "  Now here is the catch:  If someone signs for it, the deal is done.  When you call to refuse the order, they will use your coworkers names, who they claim, gave them the approval. They will not take the product back, due to product tampering.  (even unopened) The invoice will arrive with "All sales are final" at the bottom of the page.

If you get this type of sales pitch.  Let your employees know right away.  This all happens fast.

We filed a complaint with the New York Better Business Bureau.
