This workshop is designed as an introduction to the regulatory requirements for nutrient controls and the techniques available for sampling and the measurement of alkalinity, nitrogen, and phosphorus in wastewater, drinking water, environmental waters, and industrial water. The course objectives will be met by presenting technical background, incorporating practical applications of sampling and analytical testing, and through "hands-on" experience using portable field use and laboratory instruments. Students are required to analyze water samples of known and unknown values
