Field Superintendent

The Hempfield Township Municipal Authority (THTMA) is accepting resumes for the position of Field Superintendent.  This is a full-time position with responsibilities that include supervision of union employees, work order management, sewer line GIS mapping, budgeting, maintenance oversight, safety program management, I & I investigation, and on-call duties.

THTMA currently provides sewage service to over 13,500 residential, industrial, and commercial customers in a service area that includes Hempfield Township and the Boroughs of Arona, Hunker, and New Stanton, as well as parts of the City of Greensburg, East Huntingdon, North Huntingdon, Penn, Sewickley, and Unity Township. The field department is responsible for maintaining THTMA’s sewage collection and conveyance system which consists of over 450 miles of sewer line and 9 pump stations. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years experience in wastewater collection systems with 2 years supervisory experience preferred.  Other requirements:  A valid PA driver’s license, knowledge of equipment repair, excellent written and verbal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
