WASTEWATER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

 

Severn Trent Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time wastewater maintenance technician at a 3.85 MGD wastewater plant and a 4.0 MGD water treatment plant located in Lititz, PA.Applicants should live within 10 miles of the facility. The successful candidate will also be performing operational and maintenance duties for a wastewater collection system in northern LancasterCounty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment including pumps and electrical equipment, as well as coordinating maintenance activities with outside contractors. The candidate will also ensure that maintenance records are kept up to date. Additional duties may include assisting with daily NPDES permit analyses, process control tests and other plant operational duties. The candidate should have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical system components. The preferred candidate should have experience with wastewater collection system pump stations and related equipment.
