This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced wastewater treatment plant professional.  The Township of Spring, located near Reading in beautiful Berks County PA, is a wonderful place to work and reside.

This is an exempt level supervisory position reporting to the Director of Public Works. The Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent has overall managerial/administrative responsibility for wastewater treatment plant operations  in the Township and supervises plant employees.  The wastewater treatment plant has been recently updated and expanded.

Candidates MUST meet minimum requirements of:   3-5 years of relevant experience including the direct supervision of others.  BS Degree in related field (such as Engineering) is strongly preferred.  Candidates who possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.  Pennsylvania Class A or Class B WWTP Operation Certificate/License , Class E Collection and Conveyance System and WW Subclassifications of 1, 2, 3, 4 along with a valid PA driver’s license with CDL is required.
