Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) From an Operator’s Perspective

This course is intended to help prepare operators for BNR operations. Discussions will include differences between BNR operations and comparing Bio-P removal to Chemical-P removal. Schematics of biological phosphorus and total nitrogen removal in WWTPs will be reviewed to discuss process control options and monitoring practices.
