The long term viability of any small utility depends on how well the system plans for its future. This course is designed to educate decision makers, operators and managers of the steps to take to develop short term and long range plans for the continued operation of the system. Included in the course are ways to evaluate the current system’s financial and operational condition, social trends to evaluate that may mean additional capacity needed and what needs to be put into place to meet compliance now and in the future. The course also addresses the need for the community’s support for expensive capitol plans and ways to gain that support.

Supplies, materials and lunch are included with your registration.
