URGENT! Contact your PA Senator and OPPOSE SB 597!
PRWA has reviewed and opposes SB 597. This Bill places community water and sewer systems under additional regulations that are enforced by Pennsylvania Public Utility Code (PUC). This Bill is currently in the Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee and up for vote on Tuesday, May 25th. If approved by the Committee, it will then go before the full PA Senate. Please email or call your local PA Senator in opposition of the bill as soon as you can. A letter is attached to assist you.
