Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority is accepting applications for the position of Process Operations Mechanic.
This is a full time, hourly position with comprehensive benefits and a set work schedule - no travel. Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of wastewater/water equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment independently, and general labor/construction duties at multiple facilities.
The successful candidate must have trade experience/education with good mathematical and mechanical aptitude skills, possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings & specifications, be professional in dealing with customers, and have effective communication skills.
Candidates should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, demonstrate sound judgment, and be team oriented. The position requires a background check and drug testing. A valid driver’s license is required.
Wage is dependent on experience/education and qualifications.
