Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator/Trainee
CICJSA is currently accepting resumes for the full-time position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator/Trainee. CICJSA is located in Indiana County, PA.
WWTP Operators perform skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment, sewage collection system with 3 pump stations, sludge processing, and laboratory process control in a .65 MGD wastewater treatment facility.
This position requires:
• Rotating on-call/emergency availability
• Reliable transportation and emergency response time of less than one hour
• PA DEP class E wastewater certification at minimum OR be able to achieve certification within one year
• PA Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Mechanical Ability
• Wastewater Treatment Plant Experience – Preferred
• Sanitary Sewer Collection System Experience – Required
Starting hourly rate is $18/hour with excellent benefit package
