South Londonderry Township Municipal Authority- SLTMA (Lebanon County) is looking to hire a full-time licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator with a minimum Class C, Subclass1, 4, PA DEP Wastewater Operators Certification/License. The applicant should also have or the ability to obtain a class B or higher Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License - CDL with tanker and air brake endorsement. The perspective employee should be willing to relocate to within 10 miles of work.

After training of approximately 3 months, the applicant would be put into rotation for on-call and weekend duties as scheduled, normally 1 week per month. The perspective employee must be able to work independently and in a group setting, performing all the duties required and/or assigned.

Some tasks include daily site visit to our 4 wastewater facilities and testing of plant effluents and daily check of our 9 sewage pumping stations. Filling out daily log sheets and check charts, assisting with cleaning of pump stations, and minor maintenance of equipment and grounds.
