ASSE Introduction to Backflow Prevention Assembly Repair and Maintenance: The purpose of the course is to give students a working understanding of backflow prevention assemblies and introduction to troubleshooting in the classroom then to demonstrate disassembly, repair, and reassembly of multiple models of backflow prevention devices in a hands-on "rotating workstation" environment.

Cross Connection & Backflow Basics: This course covers basic backflow hydraulics, the different types of cross-connections, and the degree of hazard, describes in detail how to apply protection and to prevent backflow using airgaps and backflow prevention devices. Chapter 3 will also explain how the devices work and will cover proper installation guidelines.
