Waste Water Plant Operator II

The Borough of Ephrata is a small community located in Lancaster County, PA. Ephrata is located within 1-2 hours from 3 major cities: Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York. We operate two municipal waste water treatment plants with a combined average of 3,000,000 gallons a day.

 Candidates must be able to perform the following job duties:

Performs daily operation and routine preventative maintenance functions of all wastewater treatment and pumping facilities

Project Manager - Water / Wastewater Facilities

Operator - Water / Wastewater Facilities

A local firm has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Operator for water systems in Allegany County, MD area.  Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays with limited supervision. 

Duties include hands-on operation of water treatment plants, meeting daily testing parameters, evaluating process control and general housekeeping of buildings and plants. 

MDE water license is preferred, but will consider candidates with hands-on experience.  Valid driver’s license is required. Mechanical, electrical and computer skills a plus.

The Municipality of Penn Hills Water Pollution Control Department is seeking a full time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to perform skilled labor in the daily operation of wastewater treatment and equalization facilities.  Position is responsible for supplemental staffing in all facets of operation and maintenance of the Water Pollution Control Department.  The successful candidate must have experience in the operation of wastewater treatment plants.  Position requires a minimum of a class B,E, subclass 1 wastewater certificate issued by the PA DEP.
