Must be able to use mechanical tools, have excellent driving record, good writing and communication skills, with a minimum of a high school education.

The Municipality of Penn Hills Water Pollution Control Department is seeking a full time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to perform skilled labor in the daily operation of wastewater treatment and equalization facilities.  Position is responsible for supplemental staffing in all facets of operation and maintenance of the Water Pollution Control Department.  The successful candidate must have experience in the operation of wastewater treatment plants.  Position requires a minimum of a class B,E, subclass 1 wastewater certificate issued by the PA DEP.
