The Production Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all aspects of production operations for our Residential Gas Meter product line. This hands-on leader manages a team of 15 production professionals, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. The supervisor drives continuous improvement, maintains compliance with industry regulations, and fosters a high-performance team culture.
Work schedule” 2-2-3, hours are 6PM to 6AM – 805 Liberty Blvd. DuBois, PA 15801
Supervision & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15 production employees.
- Motivate team members to achieve daily and long-term production goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Address personnel issues and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Model integrity, strong work ethic, and alignment with Xylem values.
Production Planning & Coordination
- Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules to meet demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues promptly.
Quality Control
- Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and enforce quality control procedures.
- Address quality concerns quickly and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Reporting
- Provide regular updates to upper management on production performance.
- Prepare reports on output, quality, and operational metrics.
- Coordinate with other departments on product changes or new launches.
- Maintain clear, open communication with all team members.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience developing and implementing inventory management policies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and production software.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
