Wastewater Superintendent

Butler Township, Luzerne County is seeking applications for a full time Wastewater Superintendent. Possession of valid Pennsylvania driver license and PaDEP  Class B,E Subclass 1,4 wastewater license is required.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Operating wastewater treatment plant, with task such as sampling and lab testing, operation of centrifuge and pumps, general maintenance of equipment at the plant, 24/7 emergency response calls, assisting plant personal and other Township employees, permitting,  and submitting reports to PaDEP.  Maintaining collection system lines, ability to enter confined space, operation of line locating and video collection system, new construction inspections, and maintaining collection system maps. Also, operating a variety of equipment including skid loader, Vac truck, and related equipment. Snow plowing and removal, landscaping, grass cutting, and general grounds maintenance.
