Trainings and Events

Refunds and Cancellations: Pennsylvania Rural Water Association (PRWA) may grant refunds or assess administrative charges for training seminar or event cancellations.

• ALL requests must be submitted in writing. Requests can be emailed to training@prwa.com, by fax to (814) 353-9341, by text to (914) 800-0958 or by filling out the Training form. You can send by US mail to 138 West Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
• Requests received two weeks prior to the seminar or event will be considered for a full refund.
• A $35 administrative fee will be processed for all cancellations within 2 weeks of seminar or event.
• No refund will be given the day of or after the training seminar or event.
• There is a $25.00 fee for attendees who register ‘the day of’ or ‘walk-in’ to any training event.
• In the event PRWA must cancel a training class or event, you will be refunded in full and/or given credit depending upon the circumstance.

Weather: Regardless of weather conditions, PRWA training seminars and events are held as scheduled unless there is a state of emergency. Any changes or cancelations will be posted on our homepage.

Conference

Registrations for the Annual PRWA Conference received after the registration deadline will be assessed a $50 administrative fee.

Refunds and Cancellations:

• A $50 administrative fee will be processed for all cancellations received within 10 business days of the start of conference.
• No refunds will be given for requests received after 5 business days before the start of conference.

Booth Exhibitors:

• Specific exhibitor instructions including set-up and tear-down times will be provided to all exhibitors.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations of exhibitor booths received after the last business day in February.

Privacy

PRWA collects information you provide when you create an account, contact us, register for training or events, place an order, request a certificate, subscribe to communications, or otherwise use the Site. This may include your name, organization, contact information, account details, registrations, order and billing information, PRWA Client ID, ZIP code, communications, and content you submit. We also receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, and cookie or consent choices.

We use this information to operate accounts and forms; locate certificate records; fulfill registrations, orders, and other requests; process payments; provide customer service and communications; protect the Site from spam, fraud, and abuse; measure and improve the Site when you consent; maintain records; and comply with legal obligations.

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to service providers that support these purposes, including hosting and website providers, Authorize.Net for payment processing, Google reCAPTCHA for form security, analytics providers when enabled, and communications vendors. Providers may process technical or transaction information under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of an organizational transaction. PRWA does not sell personal information. SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and consent records, meet legal, accounting, and security requirements, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and why it was collected. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

The Site is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and delete it where required. The Android App associated with this website collects no user data.

Photo, Video, and Other Consent

Your registration and participation in any Pennsylvania Rural Water Association (PRWA) function represents consent for PRWA to take and use photographs, digital images, and/or videos for use in any publications. These publications might include printed or electronic publications, websites, social media, and other electronic communications. Your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image(s). No compensation will be given for use of images. All negatives, prints, and digital reproductions will be the property of PRWA.

Website

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), because visitors may be able to download and extract that data. Essential cookies support core functions. With your permission, optional Statistics, Functional, and Marketing services may support analytics, form security, payments, location tools, and embedded content. Account holders can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except the username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information as needed to administer the account.

2. SMS Communication will pertain only to customer service and training registrations.
