Water/Wastewater Operator Wanted

The Snake Spring Township Municipal Authority (SSTMA) located in Bedford County wishes to hire a PA DEP licensed Water/Wastewater Operator

PA DEP Licensed Wastewater C, E, 1 & 4 and PA DEP Licensed Water C, 7, 8 & 12 or higher preferred.

This is a 40 hour full time position, working M-F with work on alternating weekends of 2 hr./day overtime.  Emergency call out work as needed.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid PA drivers license.

  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions required
  • Ability to interact with other SSTMA employees and with customers
  • Ability to diagnose problems and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.

Hourly rate commensurate  with experience.
