Borough of Jim Thorpe Water Treatment Plant Operator

The Borough has an open position for Full Time Truck Driver/Laborer/Plant Operator Trainee for the Water Treatment Plant, conditioned upon employee having a CDL Class B Driver’s License and obtaining a PA-DEP Class C Water Operator License and Subclasses 1, 7, 8 and 11, 12 & E (Distribution) within three (3) years of date of hire to this position.  After license is obtained, employee will be upgraded to Assistant Plant Operator/Laborer for the Water Treatment Plant.  Interested persons should apply at the Borough Office, 101 East 10^th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA  18229.  Applications will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
